Anthony Owen Eaton (known as Tony) was born on May the 24th 1961 to parents Nora and Len Eaton. He was the only son and had two sisters, Mary and Jean.
Later in life (1987) he became father to daughter Charlie Louise
and father to son Mitchell (1989).
He worked for a company named Curtain Master, and then began working as a lorry driver for Ikon.
Tony (nicknamed Stick by many) died in a paragliding accident on Sunday the 2nd of September 2007.
He had been a dedicated member of the Green Dragons paragliding team for over 10 years. He was also a Green Dragons Club Coach and Winch operator in both Hill and winch flying methods.
He was always in the top 10 when competing.
Tony ran in a few of the London marathons.
He owned a motorbike and loved going out and about on it. One place he went alot was to Box Hill where hundreds of motorbikers gathered, he also sometimes took one of his two children out with him on his bike for rides. Tony liked spending time with his family on various holidays, tenting/camping trips, caravan holidays (lol Haven Holidays with Rory the tiger). He also liked taking his two children on fun days out.
Tony was a very kind loving man, and we all remember him for his big cheeky grin and great personality.

Tony, I was just passing by and came across you in connection with Green Dragons, which was clearly a passion for you. I'm just thinking of taking up the sport at Green Dragons as my new challenge in 2010. On seeing your face in your memorials, you do look vaguely familiar to me. As I live in Purley, maybe we met in the area sometime when you were still around? I was very touched by the tributes from your family and friends and you are very deeply missed by many, Tony, for sure. But you followed your dream, and that's what we all have to do. If you're up there watching, mate, make sure you guide my hand as I take to the skies with Green Dragons for the very first time in 2010: your overseeing guidance will be appreciated! Simon

I miss you, and I wish I could turn the clocks back... now all I am left with are the photos of you on my bedroom wall :(
